"We've found Boardman to be an invaluable professional resource"

Potential Extension of the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee (TAG) Program.

The FDIC is soliciting comments on its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking which presents two alternatives for concluding the TAG program. The first option would be to follow the existing plan unchanged, with the program concluding on December 31, 2009 and no increase in fees for the coverage. The second alternative would extend the program until June 30, 2010 with an increase in annual fees from 10 basis points to 25 basis points during the extension period.
